We have used Etwall vets for our cats and dogs for ages, always friendly and helpful.

However we recently had to have our 14 year old collie put to sleep, this was an extremely hard decision, but the correct one.

We booked an appointment and arrived early, the receptionist could see why we were there and offered drinks and a private place for us to wait.

We had to take our daughter with us - and I had planned all along to leave the room to stay with her as at 9 she is to young to be in the room, however the vet nurse helping explained everything and took our daughter to see some kittens in the back, allowing me to stay with my husband and dog to the very end.

They then returned with our daughter so she could also say goodbye and let her help do paw prints etc.

This was an awful day, and one that due to there care and thought was made better for both myself and my husband, but to a child saying goodbye to her best friend.

Absolutely the best vet in our area, they look after my GSD ( Omen )for years and they always very friendly and helpful. Always trying to book us in same day when we have emergency problem. They know what they doing and I can trust them in 100% what is very important to me and my dog.

Recently moved to them. They are compassionate, caring and tell you all the facts and end result. They are also very reasonably priced. Great service and all the staff are friendly, they listen to you and find the time for you. They have a welcoming and clean practice. Would definitely recommend these vets.

To all the team at Etwall Vets, I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for the care and kindness you showed to my beautiful boy, Lenny. Losing him so suddenly and tragically at only 9 months old has completely broken my heart, but your compassion and gentleness during such an awful time meant more than words can say. Thank you for treating him with such love and respect, and for the comfort you showed me when I was in pieces. It brings me a little peace knowing he was cared for so kindly in his final moments. The Etwall team are outstanding. Katy has been there for myself and my dogs through some very very challenging diagnosis and difficult times . Raquel was amazing when I rushed Bandit my Chinese Crested in , the care that both her and Amy gave was compassionate and went above and beyond as the practice was closing on a Saturday, even speaking to Ruth from cardiology who came racing in on her day off. Sophie , Emily and all the nurses are caring , very knowledgeable and enthusiastic . The reception staff are friendly , empathetic and accommodating for appointments (unlike a lot of other practices )and you feel like you’re talking to people who care and aren’t just at the end of the phone uninterested and looking to sell you treatments. It’s rare that people go above and beyond these days but this practice goes the extra mile without the corporate feel. Old school values.

After a challenging experience with other vets, I chose Etwall Vets, and it was the best decision! Last week, I faced the heartbreaking decision to put my beloved cat down, and their compassion made all the difference. They provided me with all the time I needed, showing genuine care and understanding throughout the process. I received my cat's ashes today, accompanied by her paw and nose prints, as well as a heartfelt card. These mementos mean everything to me, and I am deeply grateful for them.
